The mines were closed around 1963 and left in great condition. Great Burlington Northern Railroad tracks are between the mines and old Highway 79. The seller has been told that the tracks can be reworked and used for distribution. Sealed mine unit temperatures are approximately 63-65 degrees. Other possible uses could be recreation, nursery business, data storage, dry storage, plant growth, etc. There is a possibility of obtaining more land.
